It's been awhile, introducing the scale

I've not stepped on a scale since the end of April.. maybe first of May... either way, it's been a LONG time.  The reasons are I just haven't wanted to.  My TOPS chapter that I joined here isn't what I need.  I don't know anyone enough people to start another chapter.  Can't afford WW, and if I could, am not sure I would get the support I need from them.

I plan on joining up with the "Lose It" program at the YMCA.  I already go there all the time, so on Thursday I start.  But today I stepped on the scale to see how it was going.

It's going.

What a coincidence. I stepped on the scale today at the doctor's office. You have me by 2 lbs.

I hate the scale, but I need it to keep myself in line. I haven't seemed to master all the life skills necessary to live without packing on the pounds, even if I'm doing it more slowly and stealthily now instead of wild and crazily.

Good luck on finding something that works for you.

Scales.... I try to only get on mine once a week & not put too much stock into it. It's a number... yes it's a high one that I don't like & isn't healthy but as long as I see it going down each time I'm accepting of it and happy, for the most part... LOL. What I try to focus on more is how I'm feeling as I move along my path and how my clothes are fitting, also if others are noticing... those things keep me going:-)

I only get on the scale every 2 weeks. I get my measurements done once a month. I rely more on inches lost and weight lost, but they are both important!
